Great Climate Change Article By A Republican Meteorologist

In a rare event from the conservative side of the aisle, a Republican meteorologist, Paul Douglas, penned a powerful article on the reality of climate change, how it is already affecting us, and how it will impact us long-term, particularly if so many continue to deny reality. I can’t say I agree with everything Douglas writes about in his article but even the parts I disagree with are still coming from the right place. For example, I do think private businesses will have to play a role in solving this problem but climate change is such a huge problem it will required mandates from governments around the world to effect any real change.

Romney Fails On Pre-Existing Condition Question From Leno

Mitt Romney has no good answers for how to deal with pre-existing conditions in an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday night. If Romney becomes president and is successful (along with congress) in repealing the Affordable Care Act, he is apparently fine with people being denied insurance coverage due to a pre-existing condition.

Gallup: Top 3 Most And Least Religious States

A new Gallup poll shows Mississippi is the most religious state and Vermont is the least religious state. Eight states in all have higher than 50% of residents classified as “very religious”. It’s not a shock that all of those eight states are southern states except one: Mississippi, Utah, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina.
