Video: Obama Defends Women’s Health And Planned Parenthood

This past week President Obama showed his support for women’s health in a message delivered to Planned Parenthood supporters. The President draws a clear distinction between where he stands and where some on the Right stand, including “professional politicians” who want to “get rid of” Planned Parenthood. Of course this “professional politician” is Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. It’s been a common refrain to say Republicans are waging a war on women’s rights, but I don’t think it’s limited to just women. These Republicans, particularly social conservatives, are against anything they see as threatening the historical order (i.e. old white men making the decisions for everyone else).
