Fact of the Day: President Obama Wins 71 Percent Of The Latino Vote
Republicans will likely respond to their presidential election loss by calling for an even more conservative candidate in the 2016 election. They likely will claim that Mitt Romney in 2012 and John McCain in 2008 were not true conservatives, and if only a true conservative could be nominated, Republicans would win back the White House. The problem is, even though Mitt Romney and John McCain were once considered moderate, they did not run as moderates during their presidential campaigns. On the surface it may seem Republicans could win over the Latino vote with a conservative message, but they fail to do so because they instead cater their message to a shrinking white majority.

Only 4 days until election day and the right-wing is looking desperate. Oh sure, they attempt to disguise their angst as overwhelming optimism that Mitt Romney will win, but they know, that we know, what they know — Barack Obama is likely going to win this election.

Only Days Before Election Day, Obama Gets To Be President
The Obama administration is showing us that big government can respond effectively during a national disaster. No response will ever be perfect but all indications point to a federal government well equipped to handle the challenge. This is what happens when you have competence in the White House and in other high government positions. This is what happens when we elect people who believe in government. And so, with only days until election day, Obama gets to be the president while Romney remains the politician. Let us not forget what happens when we elect people who say government is the problem — they get into office and prove it. (to paraphrase Bill Maher)
