Indulge me while I take a brief moment to talk about part-time real estate tycoon and full-time jackass (hmm, that sounds eerily familiar), Donald Trump.
The Obama administration is showing us that big government can respond effectively during a national disaster. No response will ever be perfect but all indications point to a federal government well equipped to handle the challenge. This is what happens when you have competence in the White House and in other high government positions. This is what happens when we elect people who believe in government. And so, with only days until election day, Obama gets to be the president while Romney remains the politician.
