What Can Denmark Teach Us About Ourselves?

On The Huffington Post, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders asks (“What Can We Learn From Denmark?“). But I think a better question is: What can Denmark teach us about ourselves? — Senator Sanders talks about the town hall meetings he attended with Danish Ambassador Peter Taksoe-Jensen. During those meetings, people learned about the major differences in quality of life of the average person in Denmark compared to the average person in the United States.

Due Process: What’s The Purpose Of The Public Defender?

For those among us who believe we should try and convict suspects in the media and without trial, I ask, what is the purpose of the public defender? John Oliver Exposes Australia’s Gun Control ‘Failure’

In 1996 Australia suffered it’s worst mass shooting event with 35 innocent people killed. Newly elected conservative Prime Minister John Howard faced a choice, he could enact strong gun control laws that might also penalize law-abiding gun owners, or do nothing. Dow Jones, The Kenyan Socialist, And A Thousand Years Of Darkness

On Tuesday, January 20, 2009, the Kenyan socialist, also known as Barack Obama, took the oath of office and became the 44th President of the United States. His presidency was only made possible by the massive fraud committed by ACORN, oh, and the lone Black Panther. On that lowly day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) closed at 7949.09, and the first anti-American, anti-capitalist president set forth a plan to ruin the fortunes of CEOs and top executives. You know, the “productive class” in our society. The people who do the heavy lifting and throw a few scraps at the rest of us when they are feeling generous.

Liberal: What Does It Mean? – The Rise And Fall Of Modern Social Liberalism

In May of 2011, I asked the question “What does it mean to be a liberal?” The question and the blog post that followed were written months before the launch of what is now called The Left Call. Apparently I was not alone in asking the question as that post from nearly two years ago is now the 3rd most popular on this blog. And because of that, I feel the need to expand.
