Chrysler Shipping Jobs To China? Nope, It’s Just Another Romney Lie

All politicians and all political campaigns stretch the truth at times, but Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign has been callously dishonest. The latest in a string of flat-out lies comes with Romney’s attempt to sour Obama’s rescue of the auto industry. Is the President of the United States a Dictator?

It would seem many conservatives think the President of the United States is an impervious leader, capable of just about anything he puts his mind to. A dictator if you will. No, I’m not talking about the current president, Barack Obama, rather the office itself. How else do you explain their reasoning when they say the president ought to be able to show leadership and convince Republicans to come around to his position? Well, they don’t exactly say that of course, but the Republicans and conservatives who acknowledge that Obama has faced stiff opposition from congressional Republicans say that it is up to Obama to show leadership, essentially willing legislation to pass regardless of the level of opposition.

Economic Uncertainty? You Can Thank Mitt Romney and Republicans

We’ve heard Romney and Republicans say that businesses are uncertain because of Obama’s big government agenda, but Reich posits that it is Romney who is offering uncertainty. Whether it’s his promise to repeal Obamacare (with no details on what he would replace it with) or his $5 trillion tax cut (with no details on which loopholes he will eliminate), Romney comes up short on specifics.

Who Would Britain Vote For?

Here in Europe we simply do not understand how the race for the White House between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney is so close. Our media portrays Barack Obama as a solid statesman who faces opponents which are nothing more than out of touch, anti-abortionist, religious extremist fools, who are lead by a man who has spent his career hoarding gold bullion in case the system of paper money collapses.
