Obama Derangement Syndrome, Gettysburg Address Style

Conservatives can’t really be this stupid can they? Okay, to be fair, maybe they aren’t stupid, they are instead ignorant. And you know what? I’m ignorant too when it comes to this particular story (more on that in a moment), but the difference is I’m not using my ignorance to attack the political opposition. I leave that to conservatives, because they are damn good at it.

Deluded Forbes Author Says The One Percent ‘Should Be Awarded The Congressional Medal Of Honor’

There are occasions when you read an article by the “opposition” and you can’t help but think, “The joke is on me. You got me! This is a fine piece of satire, have you considered submitting it to The Onion?” Such is the case with a Forbes op-ed by Harry Binswanger, and the pseudo satire begins with the title, “Give Back? Yes It’s Time For The 99% To Give Back To The 1%.”

The Biblical Prophecy Argument For American Military Action Against Syria

Yesterday I pointed out 5 misguided arguments for American military action against Syria, but there’s a 6th much less publicized argument in favor of war in Syria. Republicans Want To Impeach President Obama, And They Don’t Need A Reason

Increasingly conservative constituents are asking Republican elected officials, “Why can’t we impeach President Obama?” And in many cases, these Republicans (Senator Ted Cruz, Representative Blake Farenthold) answer by saying it’s a good question, and that they would love to impeach Obama, but the problem is the Democratically controlled Senate. Republicans lack any solid reasoning for impeachment (surprise), but that’s not what stands in their way. What stands between Republicans and an impeachment attempt is a tiny sliver of acumen remaining in the United States Congress.

Conservative Bubble: Republican Congressman: We Probably Could Get The Votes To Impeach Obama

Speaking in Luling, Texas on Saturday, Republican Representative Blake Farenthold said Republicans could probably get the votes to impeach Obama. He apparently ignored the small detail that President Obama is in his second term, and that’s because more Americans voted for him over Romney. That doesn’t phase these Republicans. They live in their own little world, and world we affectionately call the conservative bubble. They talk like they speak for all Americans. — Well of course Obama is a joke, and we need to do something about it. And so yeah, we could impeach him if we decided to vote on it.
