Election: Donald Trump, Victoria Jackson, and the Right-Wing Fit Of Rage
President Obama’s re-election gives us the latest examples of unhinged right-wing pomposity. Donald Trump calls the election “a total sham,” former SNL cast member Victoria Jackson says “America died,” and on the whole, conservatives woke up on Wednesday morning in a state of disbelief.
First, part-time real estate mogul and full-time blowhard Donald Trump tweeted the following on election night:
Donald J. Trump: This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!
Trump also called for a revolution. But don’t go searching for these tweets because The Donald has since deleted them.
Next up, former SNL cast member and recurring Fox News pundit Victoria Jackson tweeted:
Victoria Jackson: I can’t stop crying. America died.
and later
Victoria Jackson: The Democrat Party voted God out and replaced Him with Romans 1. In the Good vs. Evil battle…today…Evil won.
No word yet on when Good will avenge it’s loss or when God will stop fucking with conservatives.
Over on the American Spectator, Robert Stacy McCain writes:
The American people — or, at the very least, a sufficient plurality of them — decided that they want another four years of clumsy policy failures and vengeful “progressivism,” as Democrats nowadays describe their agenda for wrecking what remains of our constitutional republic. Even before the unmitigated political disaster of November 6, 2012, a date that will live in infamy, the prospects of salvaging the United States were not particularly hopeful. Now, however, we are permanently and irretrievably screwed.
In the immortal words of Marty McFly, “Whoa. This is heavy.” — McCain screeds about the devastation wrought by unintelligent Democrats and liberals, who are a constant affliction to the true protectors of American idealism, conservatives. He says conservatives need to regroup and “stubbornly oppose the vaunting foe.” — You know, standard Fox News boilerplate stuff.
And speaking of Fox News, I can’t close this article before mentioning Bill O’Reilly, who said yesterday:
“The white establishment is now the minority,” O’Reilly said. “And the voters, many of them, feel that the economic system is stacked against them and they want stuff. You are going to see a tremendous Hispanic vote for President Obama. Overwhelming black vote for President Obama. And women will probably break President Obama’s way. People feel that they are entitled to things and which candidate, between the two, is going to give them things?”
“The demographics are changing,” he said. “It’s not a traditional America anymore.”

Easy on the unhinged, heavy on the pomposity.
