RNC – An American Dream Inspired by Republican Rick Santorum
The overarching Republican goal for government and their idea of the “American Dream”:
Elect a Republican as president and we will begin to tear down the evil government that is holding all of us back from our full potential. Elect Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan and we will begin to do what you sent us there to do, absolutely nothing. For it is nothing that is required of a president who does not believe in government. If you elect Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, the nearly 50 million people in poverty will be given the opportunity to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and apply for non-existent good paying jobs and to make something of themselves. No longer will they be dependent on government assistance, because without that assistance and without a good paying job and without health care they will soon perish, but they will do so knowing that they had the honor and pride of not asking for or receiving help from fellow Americans.
