The Left Call: A Brief Celebration and Review of Year One
It was a year ago today that I founded leftcall.com, and coincidentally this is the 600th post on this blog. Well, I guess there’s nothing really special about that number other than we humans like nice round numbers to celebrate. The Left Call was born as a re-launch of an existing blog, but this time with a full-time focus on political analysis with a liberal edge. The intention was and is to inject liberal values into important political and social issues. The launch of The Left Call coincided with the start of the 2012 election season and over the past year I’ve covered dozens, even hundreds of 2012 election stories, and it likely will only intensify with less than 3 months to go until election day.
I want to give a shout out to all Left Call readers. Whether this is your 5th visit or your 50th visit, your support is always appreciated. This blog started out with very modest readership a year ago, and by most any measure is still a small operation, but the reader support has definitely grown steadily during the past year and I hope to grow this support with quality content in the year to come.
Oh, and make sure you vote on election day!
Best regards,
David K. Sutton
