VIDEO: NASA scientist James Hansen connects extreme heat to climate change
In this PBS NewsHour segment, NASA scientist James Hansen explains there is enough evidence to connect extreme weather events to climate change. Hansen is credited with raising awareness to global warming back in 1988 when he testified on climate change to a congressional committee. He has been an outspoken advocate for action on climate change.
