The Left Call: You May Have Noticed Something New
First, if you are a regular reader I want to thank you for your loyalty! It’s greatly appreciated.
Next, I’m always looking for new ways to get useful and informative content posted to The Left Call so I’m trying something new, mobile posting via iPhone and iPad as well as posting via email. This new approach is not a replacement for the types of articles you’ve come to expect from The Left Call, but it’s a way to produce more content and with greater frequency. You may have already noticed that I started doing this today.
The idea is to post a few sentences or a short paragraph or two, and in many cases provide an excerpt and link to a related article on another website. This type of post usually will be in the “Tidbits” category. In other cases these “mobile” posts will be slightly longer form and will be posted to a more specific category. If you’ve been a regular reader, you probably have noticed I always attach images to posts so that they show a thumbnail image in the main blog feed. Most, if not all, of these new “mobile” posts will not have image attachments as it’s a bit too cumbersome to do this. Again, the idea is to streamline the process to get important and useful content onto The Left Call.
