As We Await The Iowa Caucus, GOP Candidate Word Association
After a more than a year of wall-to-wall GOP presidential campaign coverage on news networks and political websites it is finally the night of the Iowa Caucus. As we await the results, let’s play GOP Candidate Word Association.
The candidates:
1. Mitt Romney
2. Newt Gingrich
3. Rick Perry
4. Michele Bachmann
5. Jon Huntsman
6. Ron Paul
7. Rick Santorum
The words:
a. scary
b. bigot
c. reasonable
d. pompous
e. scarecrow
f. convenience
g. radical
Since each word could describe any of the candidates depending on the issue and the day that means there are no winners and losers for GOP Candidate Word Association. In the timeless words of David Letterman, “This is only an exhibition. This is not a competition. Please, no wagering.”
Having stated the above, I do believe the choices below best represent each candidate.
